Greg Doggett is Associate Counsel for Safety Net Hospitals for Pharmaceutical Access (SNHPA).  Working closely with SNHPA's legislative, legal, and regulatory staff, Mr. Doggett researches and analyzes federal laws, regulations, and programs pertaining to pharmaceutical pricing, with a focus on the 340B federal drug discount program.  In addition, he assists in keeping hospitals abreast of issues and developments relevant to the 340B program, Medicare Part D, and other pharmaceutical-related government programs by creating and updating educational materials and providing technical guidance to SNHPA members.

Before joining SNHPA, Mr. Doggett oversaw the government and board affairs of the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) and the Medical Transcription Industry Association (MTIA), the professional and trade associations for the medical transcription sector.  He managed all aspects of the associations’ advocacy efforts, including strategy and content development for the annual AHDI-MTIA Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC.  Mr. Doggett educated association members on complex laws affecting their sector by tracking key legislation and regulations and providing regular updates through formal presentations, articles, and reports.  He also coordinated the development and distribution of comprehensive compliance and ethical best practices information for medical transcription businesses and professionals.

Mr. Doggett is a member of the Ohio and DC Bars.  He received his bachelor’s degree in sociology cum laude from the University of Evansville and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was awarded the Health Law CALI Excellence for the Future Award and completed a concentration in health law, with honors.
