Greg Doggett is the Associate Counsel of Safety Net Hospitals for Pharmaceutical Access (SNHPA). Working closely with SNHPA’s legal, legislative, and regulatory staff, Mr. Doggett researches and analyzes issues pertaining to pharmaceutical pricing and federal programs affecting drug pricing, particularly the federal 340B program. In addition, he assists in keeping hospitals abreast of issues and developments relevant to 340B, Medicare Part D, and other pharmaceutical-related government programs by creating and updating educational materials and providing technical guidance to SNHPA members on 340B matters.
Before joining SNHPA, Mr. Doggett oversaw the government and board affairs of the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) and the Medical Transcription Industry Association (MTIA), the professional and trade associations for the medical transcription sector. He managed all aspects of the associations’ advocacy efforts, including strategy and content development for the annual AHDI-MTIA Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC. Mr. Doggett educated association members on complex laws affecting their sector by tracking key legislation and regulations and providing regular updates through formal presentations, articles, and reports. He also coordinated the development and distribution of comprehensive compliance and ethical best practices information for medical transcription businesses and professionals.
Mr. Doggett is a member of the Ohio and DC Bars. He received his bachelor’s degree in sociology cum laude from the University of Evansville and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was awarded the Health Law CALI Excellence for the Future Award and completed a concentration in health law, with honors. |
